Review on the Wiz Khalifa concert

Last summer I went an amazing concert that I will never forget.  The artist I went to see goes by the name of "Wiz Khalifa". He was the headliner at the show there was also other artists that performed as well.  The opening act was an artist called Chevy Woods.  His performance was a pretty good one for opening act.  The DJ (DJ Bonics) was amazing.  He was so good at controlling the crowd and getting everyone pumped up for the artists to come out.  I really enjoyed the performance by Mac Miller the artist who came on right before Wiz Khalifa.  He did a lot of accapella which really got the crowd hype.  He would rap a verse then hold the mic to the crowd and let them finish the rest of it.  But if I had to choose one person who did the best I would most definitely give it to Wiz Khalifa himself, the special effects and show he put was simply just beyond amazing.  The energy he came out with just sent the crowd insane and every body was jumping up and down going crazy.  By far one of the best concerts I've ever been too!

My Weekend

This weekend I decided to go on a trip with my boy Wigz to learn a few things about the DJing business.  So I packed up my equipment and we headed down to North Carolina for the weekend.  The drive was 4 1/2 to 5 hours long! I was so ready to get on the stage when we got there I was tired of being in the car. We got there 15 minutes till 8 which is when we had to go on. So we set up and started the party up. Set went good and I got to learn a lot of new things by watching him spin. We went out into the crowd for a little bit then decided we were gonna make a trip to James Madison University. We left the rave around 10:30 and headed down the road. We didn't get to JMU until 1. When we got there I called my cousin who lives there and we partied at his house for the night. We went to JMU with a goal that we would be able to DJ at a frat party. So the next morning we woke up and went knocking on the frat house doors to make a proposition. Surprisingly it turned out good and we got into the first frat house we went to. Unfortunately my night ended almost getting in a fight with one of the football players. Not sure what his problem was but apparently I did something to really piss him off because he ended up swinging at me. Let me fill you in that this guy was probably around 6' 2 260 some lbs. I didn't have a chance lol. Luckily someone was able to cool him off before something happen.

My life be like..

First off I would like to introduce my self.  My name is Kyle Barker and I'm currently 19 yrs old.  My life aside from the everyday routine of school and work is all about MUSIC.  I honestly don't think I would survive a day with out it.  I'm convinced that when I was born I came out head first with a set of head phones plugged in my ears.  Ever since I was young sounds of all sorts have amused me. Not a minute goes by where some type of music is flowing threw my head.  With all that being said I'm hoping to land a career as a DJ. So far I'm doing pretty good.  Its not always about what you know but also who you know as well.  Shout out to my bro DJ Carnage...
